My artistic interest lies in representing human experience in its varied forms. I seek to convey feelings, attitudes, moods, and relationships. I spend a great deal of time focusing on creating art that is constructive, and demonstrates beauty and harmony, even in the midst of destruction and negativity. My artistic interest is inspired by a search for “essential” qualities, from studies of an object to finding key ephemeral quality of a personal portrait.

I studied at St Petersburg Academy of Arts, Russia, Stockholm school of art, Sweden, PNCA in Portland, Oregon, and Academia de Bellas Artes in Santiago, Chile. I am an avid student of human arts such as anthropology, psychology, myth, legend, and some occult studies. My art is very much influenced by my experience of people and cultures through my extensive travel in Eastern and Western Europe, Russia, and South America.

I grew up, and was influenced by a sensual port city of Odessa, located on the coast of Black Sea. Some of the qualities of the city such as bright colors, friendly people, flavorful food, and humor come through in my art.
